Ahhh Character Design!

Sometimes there’s no getting around a funny name.  So when GigOptix asked me to design a creature to match the name, I was really excited to hear that they wanted something a little unusual.  We joked and sketched the creature up over pickled Herring here at the Coppergate.  This first napkin sketch ended up being the lead option, and we developed it into the character that lives at the center of GigOptix’s brand.  They use the resources I’ve provided them to showcase giggy in all kinds of interesting situations.
